POINTS SYSTEM
Member companies can participate in AEM's Advocacy Program by completing the below actions and earning points. The program aims to provide members with a wide range of activities and engagements to support AEM's grassroots and federal advocacy efforts.
Throughout the year, AEM’s Government and Public Affairs Team will work with AEM member companies to complete the various advocacy activities.
ELIGIBILITY
To participate in the program and be eligible for recognition at the AEM annual conference, each member company MUST identify one representative as their I Make America Ambassador. Ambassadors must complete a combination of actions at various levels to be eligible for silver, gold, and pillar level recognition. Silver, Gold, and Pillar Ambassadors will have opportunities to attend AEM’s Annual Conference.

Bronze Level I Make America Ambassadors will receive an initial trophy recognizing their grassroots and advocacy efforts and/or an annual year plaque.

Silver Level I Make America Ambassadors will be recognized for their grassroots and advocacy efforts during AEM’s Annual Conference and will receive a trophy and/or a plaque recognizing their grassroots and advocacy efforts.

Gold Level I Make America Ambassadors will be recognized for their grassroots and advocacy efforts during AEM’s Annual Conference and will receive a trophy and/or a year plaque recognizing their grassroots and advocacy efforts. Gold Level Ambassadors will also qualify for a limited number of scholarships to attend AEM’s Annual Conference and be celebrated on the main stage of the event.

THE INDUSTRY
The Pillar of the Industry recognition is a prestigious award given to a member company that has demonstrated outstanding partnership with the program by achieving Gold for five consecutive years. Ambassadors receive all honors given to other levels, will be recognized individually on the main stage of AEM’s Annual Conference and will qualify for a special prize.
HOW TO EARN POINTS
Below are the eligible activities that Ambassadors can complete to earn points toward Bronze, Silver, or Gold Level recognition. Click on an activity for more details.
