The I Make America campaign made two more stops in early May at AEM member companies in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Volvo CE North America hosted I Make America for a sign-up event on May 6 to coincide with its sales and marketing meetings. Rainy weather couldn’t keep Volvo employees from visiting the I Make America truck, including AEM Treasurer and Volvo CE President Sales Region Americas Göran Lindgren.

The visit to Volvo’s Shippensburg, Pennsylvania facility was the second for the I Make America campaign in three years – a testament to Volvo’s continued involvement in the IMA campaign.

Meanwhile, Kuhn North America hosted the fourth I Make America event of 2016 at its Brodhead, Wisconsin facility.

Kuhn opened its doors to its employees, their friends and families, and some members of the community for an open house on Saturday, May 14 to celebrate a new paint facility on its campus. Kuhn North America President and AEM Ag Sector Board Member Greg Petras joined AEM President Dennis Slater to encourage participants to sign up for I Make America.

I Make America was able to sign up a number of Kuhn employees and members of the Brodhead community, ensuring their involvement with manufacturing issues throughout the election season.

The two May events added to the IMA campaign’s solid early momentum this election season, with some major facility visits on deck in the weeks to come.
