Congressman Collin Peterson headlined a host of elected leaders who visited Custom Products of Litchfield on Tuesday for an I Make America tour event.

Peterson, the top Democrat on the House Committee on Agriculture, visited Custom Products in Litchfield, Minnesota to meet with company leaders and speak to employees about the importance of manufacturing and agriculture in Minnesota.

“Custom Products is a great facility and I enjoyed meeting with the employees and leadership on Tuesday. I’m constantly impressed by the innovators who start these small businesses and create jobs in our rural communities,” said Congressman Peterson.

Custom Products President and CEO Randy Reinke welcomed Peterson along with State Sen. Scott Newman, Litchfield Mayor Keith Johnson, and other local dignitaries.

Reinke led a facility tour before he, Peterson, and AEM Senior Vice President Charlie O’Brien addressed Custom Products employees about the importance of getting involved with I Make America.

The 150-some people who attended the event had a chance to visit the I Make America truck, play this year’s game, and sign up for the campaign before enjoying a lunch.

The IMA campaign is staying in Minnesota for the week, with a visit to Superior Industries in Morris, Minnesota next on the schedule.
