HCC Inc. kicked off the month of August with a visit from U.S. Representative Adam Kinzinger for an I Make America event.
Congressman Kinzinger had the opportunity to tour the 220,000 sq. ft. facility and meet with the men and women that manufacture agricultural harvesting equipment such as reels, sieves, chaffers and other innovative products for combines. HCC Inc. is located in Mendota, Illinois, and is 100-percent owned by employees.
“Here in Illinois, and across the country, the surge in manufacturing growth is benefiting our economy and creating thousands of jobs,” said Congressman Kinzinger. “HCC, Inc. has been a proven leader in the equipment manufacturing industry with their efficient and effective harvesting tools. I’m proud to represent the hardworking manufacturing industry like HCC, and I’m grateful to join them in celebrating their exceptional, innovative growth that is truly making America prosper today.”
This was the first time the I Make America campaign visited HCC’s facility, and employees were afforded the opportunity to sign up to support the campaign and learn about the important policy issues that affect the equipment manufacturing industry.
Fun fact: HCC Inc. is one of AEM’s oldest members dating back to 1905!
